Card 1

Instructions: Hold the cards next to each other, so the gray curves make a complete circle. Which curve is darker, “X” or “O”? They are the same shade. Next, move the cards apart by a small amount. Now which is darker? Now it looks like the one marked “O” is darker! Our eyes are often fooled by optical illusions. Many people are also fooled into thinking they are good enough to enter Heaven when they are not. Let's see if you will be good enough to go to Heaven when you die... Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever looked at someone with lust or had sex outside of marriage? Jesus said "Whosoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart." If you said yes to those questions, what you have to understand is that God sees you as a lying, thieving, adulterer- at-heart. On the Day of Judgment, will you be innocent or guilty? If you are reasonable, you will see that you will be guilty, and therefore end up in Hell... (continued on card two)

Card 2 - Read Card one first!

The Good News is that God doesn’t want to send you to hell. 2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ paid the fine for the Law that you have broken. He paid the penalty for your sins by being tortured and dying on the cross. "But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom 5:8) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) God promises eternal life to those who confess and forsake their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone to save them. Don't be foolish. Confess your sins to God (name them) and forsake them once and for all. Then place your faith in Jesus. Don't put it off until tomorrow… You may not have tomorrow.
