This picture was taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory in Arizona. It has been referred to as "The Eye of God" The awe-inspiring image has also been featured on several magazine covers.

Consider this: The Bible says the eyes of the Lord roam to and fro throughout the earth, keeping watch on the evil and the good. (Proverbs 15:3) It says "there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do. " (Hebrews 4:13)

The Bible says God has given us creation as evidence of God, so we are without excuse. (Romans 1:19, 20) Another witness is in the courtroom of your mind... your conscience. Everyone who lies knows they are lying, and those who steal know they are stealing. God's eternal Law will clarify it for you. God's word says that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8) and that no thief will enter Heaven. Neither will murderers, coveters, idolaters, adulterers, or fornicators (those who have sex outside of marriage) (1 Cor. 6:9-10). Check yourself against the 10 Commandments. Will you be innocent or guilty? Those who are guilty are deserving of death, and the place of punishment is Hell. (Rev. 21:8) Does that concern you? It should terrify you!

What must you do to be saved from God's wrath and judgment to come? Jesus Christ stepped into the courtroom and satisfied the demand of the Law, to take away God's wrath from you. God's love, mercy and grace are shown at the bloody cross of Christ. What a horrible death and a price He paid to ransom you from death and Hell. Christ alone has power over sin and death. The Bible says we must repent - confess and forsake what we know is wrong, agree with God that we're not good people - and call on the name of His Son. But He will judge the unrepentant and those who do not call on Him for salvation. There is no other name given under Heaven by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12) God knows your thoughts. Please, humble yourself before God. Plead with him for a heart to know Him and please Him. Do it today! You may not have tomorrow. Then read your Bible, and be obedient to God's Word. The eyes of God are upon you.
